Tyler Slack is a partner in the WilliamsMcCarthy LLP litigation department. He joined the firm’s Rockford office in September 2013. Tyler offers legal services to clients in a broad range of practice areas including commercial, employment and family law.

Tyler represents both individuals and businesses throughout the northern Illinois region in state and federal courts, appeals, and arbitration proceedings, and has appeared in court on cases being litigated in Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, DeKalb, McHenry, Lee, Will, Lake and Cook counties.

Tyler has obtained favorable outcomes for his clients through trial, post-judgment motions and at the appellate court level. He has argued multiple cases before the Illinois Appellate Court, Second Judicial District, located in Elgin, Illinois.
As a native of Sycamore, Illinois, and a resident of Rockford, Tyler has strong ties to both communities and the northern Illinois region. Tyler is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rock River Valley Pantry, and is currently the chair of the Pantry’s Peanut Butter Endowment Fund and is also a member of the client services committee. Tyler is also a graduate of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce business and civic leadership program, Leadership Rockford.
Prior to joining WilliamsMcCarthy, Tyler worked as a law clerk for the City of Chicago Department of Law.
Tyler is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Winnebago County Bar Association and DeKalb County Bar Association.
