Two WilliamsMcCarthy Partners Selected to the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America

Two partners with WilliamsMcCarthy have been recognized in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America. Daniel A. Huntley was included for his work in Real Estate Law and Estates and Trusts. Tyler B. Slack was included for his work in Family Law and Estate and Trust Litigation.

Huntley is a partner in the transactional group, concentrating his practice in corporate law, real estate law, estate and trust law and agribusiness law. Originally from Rochelle, Illinois, his clients range from multi-national corporations to local family-owned businesses to individuals.

Slack is a partner in the family law group, representing individuals in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, support matters, and pre-nuptial agreements. Tyler also handles trust litigation cases.

Inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America is determined through a comprehensive peer-review survey, which is designed to capture the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geography and legal practice area. Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers® has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. For the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America, more than 4 million votes were analyzed, which resulted in more than 27,000 lawyers honored in the new edition.

“WilliamsMcCarthy prides itself on a thoughtful and sophisticated practice of law in which both Dan and Tyler excel,” said Troy Haggestad, president of WilliamsMcCarthy LLP. “While we measure our success by the outcomes achieved for our clients, recognitions like this underscore the strong tradition of excellence at WilliamsMcCarthy.”
