WilliamsMcCarthy LLP today announced the recent addition of Associate Samantha K. McLaughlin. Her practice will focus on corporate transactions, estate planning and administration, real estate law, and litigation.
Before joining WilliamsMcCarthy LLP, Samantha served as an attorney with Schnell & Hancock, P.C. in Davenport, IA. There, she negotiated and drafted asset purchase agreements, handled business entity formation, represented clients in real estate transactions, and assisted with estate planning and trust administration.
Prior to that, Samantha served as a research assistant for Dean Kevin Washburn at the University of Iowa College of Law where she researched issues of tribal self-governance, self-determination contracts, and federal land management. She also served as a summer associate at Elderkin & Pirnie in Cedar Rapids, IA focused on medical malpractice and construction cases.
Samantha earned her Juris Doctor from University of Iowa College of Law in 2020.
