Ann has more than 30 years of experience in law.  Throughout her career, she has handled a variety of estate planning and probate concerns, real estate transactions, and business transactions. Her legal acumen earned her recognition as a Leading Lawyer, a peer-recommended distinction less than five percent of licensed lawyers in each state receive. She is regularly called upon to present to regional bar associations on topics including legislative updates, Uniform Commercial Code, Real Property Disclosures, and Collection law.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dempsey has a history as an active and committed community volunteer. She has served on the Boards of Directors for Rock Valley College, Kid’s Place, and the League of Women Voters of Greater Rockford. She has volunteered her time and talents on various committees and initiatives for the AAUW, Winnebago County Bar Association, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
