Steve Balogh, a partner in the WilliamsMcCarthy litigation group, is first vice-chair of the United Way of Rock River Valley. On March 18, 19 and 20, 2010, Steve and UWRRV President and CEO Paul Logli attended the United Way Worldwide Community Leaders Conference on behalf the local chapter. Thursday, the 18th, Steve, Paul and over 1000 representatives of local United Ways from 49 states met on Capital Hill with their congressional representatives to discuss legislative issues critical to United Ways in America. In addition to the Illinois delegation’s meetings with staffers for Senators Durbin and Burris, Paul and Steve met individually with Rep. Donald Manzullo of Illinois’s 16th Congressional District.
