Carol A. Hartline is elected partner of the Firm

WilliamsMcCarthy LLP is pleased to announce that Carol A. Hartline was elected as a partner in the firm effective on January 1, 2009.

Ms. Hartline graduated, magna cum laude, in 1999, from Northern Illinois University College of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Hartline served as an editor for the Northern Illinois University’s Law Review. Ms. Hartline received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1994. 

Ms. Hartline concentrates her practice in several areas of litigation including, workers' compensation defense, employment law, and insurance defense. She is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, and the Winnebago County Bar Association. She also serves as an Arbitrator in the 17th Judicial Circuit Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. 

She is active in various legal and civic undertakings, currently serving on the Board for the American Red Cross and is currently president of the Winnebago County Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation section. She is also a graduate of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce leadership program. 

Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Ms. Hartline worked at another firm for seven years, where she concentrated her practice in workers' compensation defense, employment law, and insurance defense.
