Practice Areas:Background Carol A. Hartline was born in Sycamore, Illinois. Ms. Hartline graduated magna cum laude, from Northern Illinois University College of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Hartline served as an editor for the university's Law Review. She also studied international law through the University of Bordeaux, France.
Ms. Hartline concentrates her practice in several areas of litigation including, workers' compensation defense, employment law, and insurance defense. She is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, and the Winnebago County Bar Association. She also serves as an Arbitrator in the 17th Judicial Circuit Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. She was appointed to the Illinois Bar Association Section Counsel on Workers' Compensation and Chairperson of the Winnebago County Bar Association Workers Compensation Law Committee.
Ms. Hartline was chosen by her peers for inclusion in the 2012 Leading Lawyers Network. She received recognition in the areas of employment law, insurance defense, and workers’ compensation defense.
