Adam M. Fleming was born in Rockford, Illinois, and is an associate in the firm’s transactional group, concentrating in business law, employee benefits, estate planning, real estate, and copyright and trademark law. Adam practices out of the firm’s Rockford, Illinois, office.
In 2007, Adam graduated with honors from the Notre Dame Law School, where he focused his studies on business, commercial and tax law. He was one of two members of the Law School’s Intellectual Property Moot Court Team which won First Place at the midwest regional AIPLA Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition in Chicago and which also won honors for Best Appellee Brief and Best Oral Advocates at the same competition. Adam then competed in the national competition in Washington, D.C. Prior to law school, Adam studied English at Northern Illinois University.
Adam worked as a Summer Associate for WilliamsMcCarthy LLP during the summers after his first and second years of law school. He joined the firm following his graduation in 2007 and is admitted to the Illinois Bar and to the General Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Winnebago County Bar Association. Adam currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center and the United Way Standards of Accountability Review board, and he is also an active member of the Cathedral of St. Peter Parish and the Knights of Columbus.
